They say that health is 90% diet and 10% exercise. As a Holistic Nutritionist, I fully believe this to be true. But that doesn’t mean I ignore the other ten percent!
Exercise is so important for circulation, digestion, joint health, and physical fitness. I recommend all of my clients incorporate some sort of fitness regimen into their lives if they aren’t already doing something when I meet them.
I love to run in the great outdoors. I like that it’s free and I can go whenever I want. I don’t need a membership, or to sign in, or wait for anyone or anything; I can just go. But the conditions have to be pretty on point for me and the music needs to be just right. So what do I do when I can’t get my daily run in? With nutrition and diet I am always about trying new dishes and recipes, so the same goes for my workout regime. I love to switch it up!
Working out just makes me feel so good and accomplished. No matter what’s going on with me in my personal life, if I get a good workout in first thing in the morning my day is off to a good start. It is a stress reliever and definitely a confidence booster. You feel better and you look better when you exercise regularly. I need to get my sweat on almost daily, at least an hour of something active to get my heart pumping. It is so easy to fall into the habit of waking up, rushing to work, not eating well, and being too tired to hit the gym or go for a run. You will notice that when you start to introduce the right healthy foods into your diet your energy levels will shoot up and you will have more than enough energy to workout. So get moving!
